ATEX Asuryan installed

This summer Clairet and Indatech installed their first ATEX certified UV-Vis spectrometer at a major pharmaceutical company.

The ATEX Zone 1 certified enclosure enables safe operation of the Asuryan UV-Vis analyser in hazardous areas where explosive gas atmospheres may occur during normal operation thanks to its overpressure cabinet (op px) and intrinsically safe lamp (op is).

Designed for Category II environments, the system ensure compliance with ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU and relevant IEC 60079 standards whilst maintaining the full analytical performance of the enclosed instrument.
